I highly recommend the Moonshine Ranch to anyone looking for a great hunt with top notch guides . I want to give Lou and the moonshine ranch 10 stars! The lodge the food everything is top notch ! I can’t express enough how grateful I am my wife and I had the best time. The best vacation we have ever had . We both harvested trophy once in a lifetime animals ! But more importantly we made unforgettable memories thanks to Lou and the staff of the Moonshine Ranch! Overall in the top 3 of all my hunting trips! Thanks again Lou.

Best of the Best!!!! Lou is like the owner of your favorite restaurant! You feel like you are the most important client he has ever had at the ranch. A cozy lodge, exotic mounts everywhere you look and by far the best food you can get anywhere! All his animals are well fed, well cared for and clean. Expert guides as well. I can’t recommend Moonshine Lodge enough. Thanks Lou for a wonderful experience that was hassle free!

Lou I would like to say thanks to you and Mr. Mike for an awesome bear hunt. Your place is what guys dream about, great food, very clean accommodations and heads everywhere, Deer, Bear, Rams, Boar, a full size Lion, and some animals I don’t even know. You treated me like a friend you knew for a long time but just met. This guy cares, I drove up to the lodge close to midnight he waited up for me like an old friend. After I left with my Bear the guy continued to call and text, that means a lot. I’m gonna be up for a few days of coyote hunting as soon as you get some snow. Thanks for a great hunt. I’ll bring PIZZA next time.

I booked a hunt for me and two of my friends. We shot three wild boar and one ram ,a Canadian Doll. Lou and Fernando were great. I had the time of my life and I am looking forward to Hunting again with them. Not only did I have a great time but I learned a lot about hunting and Fernando’s butchering and taxidermy services are great and quite affordable. I highly recommend moonshine ranch for everyone form beginner to seasoned professional.

Lou (and Fernando and Mike) I booked a turkey hunt and enjoyed the hunt and property so much. I shortly after booked a hog hunt. Lou and the guides are all top notch guys and will do anything they can to help put in a place for a successful harvest. The fair chase land and preserve is beautiful and full of game. Its safe to say I will be returning.

I would first like to thank Lou & Fernando for a great Boar hunt. I am so glad I found Moonshine Ranch on the website. I love hunting and this was the first Boar and outfitters hunt I have been on. I really did not know what to expect but staying at the ranch with Lou was like hanging out with someone I have been hunting with for years. We talked about hunting, we hunted and we had a great time. Lou was so patient and thoughtful. He drove me around the different areas and explained about the new section he was working on. I would recommend Lou & Moonshine ranch to anyone that wants to hunt whether you are a seasoned hunter like myself or a first time hunter. I will be back for sure. Lou, next time I’ll make the pasta……for bragging rites.

Lou,
It has been two weeks since I hunted at Moonshine Ranch, and I am still thinking about it and can’t wait to come back. I loved the camaraderie at the camp and the varied terrain for our hunts. I couldn’t believe how much wildlife there was on all of the grounds- deer, bear and coyote tracks, and, what a pleasant surprise, bobcats! I “passed” on a number of good shots on deer to see what might come by next! Very relaxing. Can’t wait to come back.
